Pauly Shore Vegas is my Oyster Disappointing

I went to see Pauly Shore's Vegas is my Oyster show at the Palms on Sunday 1/9/11. At the very best all I can say is disappointing. There were moments of funny stand up but beginning with the fact that this was a taping for a Showtime special, that was not disclosed in the description of the show, to the total lack of professionalism throughout the production I was left with feeling taken advantage of and wishing I could get my money back. With a compilation of performers you can expect to have some that don't meet your particular taste so I was expecting that. However the audience was subjected to numerous delays and periods of not knowing what the heck was going on. Numerous technical issues and what I thought would be at most a 2 hour show turned into 4 total hours half of which was waiting for something to happen. If you weren't paying a premium price or the show was free (as it should have been for what it actually was) you don't mind waiting because that is what you signed up for in the beginning. Overall I think Pauly and the Palms should be more forthcoming in their advertising of the show so attendee's knew what they were getting into.

Pauly Shore has lost a fan!!!

Pauly Shores "Oyster" show @ the Palms was HORRIBLE and UNORGANIZED! If I could have gotten my money back, I would have left sometime during the hour of it supposedly was suppose to start. Yes, that's right the show was suppose to start @ 8 and didn't start until 9 pm. And only then it was an unknown guy that was still trying to hold up the actual show and then this other guy that supposedly won a contest to open up for the show. When Pauly Shore did come onto the stage, he announced that this show was going to be taped for an upcoming date on Showtime. Which was never told to us before hand, not even when picking up my tickets at will call. So in return, every time they made a mistake someone would come from backstage or the actual comedian would yell out cut. In return we listened to some of the scenes over and over again. There were suppose to be 10 famous comedians during the show and a few of them didn't even show. Such as Carrot Top which was one of the main reasons why I wanted to see the show. Another comedian Tom Green in the beginning was on a projector saying that he was not going to be there because of his gf being sick. Ended up being in the show, which was exciting when he came out but only was on stage for less then a minute to sing a song that seemed made up on the spot about sausage?!?! And when leaving the stage, we thought he would be back during the show. The only person that was actually good was April Macie that appeared on Howard Stern. We were in the theatre for over 4 hours (8 to 12:20 am) and I would say probably a hour of it, was there a comedian on stage. During each comedian there was @ least 10 minutes of nothing.
